Last week, South Bend reached a milestone on its way to becoming a city of lifelong learning: One thousand people have now signed up for a Bendable account, which provides full access to the platform. The 1,000th account holder, Patrick Klamm, works at New City Presbyterian Church. A lover of the library, he was especially excited to find resources on computer coding on Bendable. But his interests don’t end there. “Who knows?” he said. “Maybe down the road I’ll learn an instrument, or find something I didn’t even know I wanted to try.” After all, there is always more to learn.
