RISE supports students who want to be entrepreneurs by arranging tours of area companies, helping them land internships and matching them with mentors. Now, the local nonprofit is getting set to offer another resource: Bendable. Iris Hammel, RISE’s executive director, hopes her students will use the platform not only to learn about business but to explore anything they’re interested in. “In a dream world,” she said, “education is much more like Bendable where people are curious, self-directed learners.” By working together, Bendable and RISE are making that dream a reality.
