Last week, the library kicked off a series of events focused on reminding people of their dreams and offering a way to follow them: Bendable. Staff at the LaSalle Branch spoke to 20 or so individuals and asked what they aspired to learn. Then they created a wall of photos showing the responses. Among them: re-learning math, becoming proficient in Photoshop, starting a business, nurturing plants and more. “Bendable puts community members in control of their own learning,” said Jill Williams, manager at the LaSalle Branch, “so they can achieve their goals and build their dreams!”
