Last summer, South Bend Venues Parks & Arts became one of the first organizations in the city to use Bendable, as it integrated the lifelong learning system into a jobs program for youth. Now, it’s back for more. Participants will use Bendable to take courses on financial literacy, goal setting, leadership and other topics. One change this year: They will also be encouraged to go beyond the set curriculum and explore Bendable on their own. “Bendable is a self-motivating resource,” said Kintae Lark, who oversees the initiative. “It helps them to become a better version of themselves.”
